Morrigan Blair is a deeply frustrated young woman working off her student loans in a Military Intelligence job she hates, enforcing a society she feels deeply is unjust, and feels like there’s nothing she can do about it. Felix von Strauss is an overworked and underpaid PhD candidate worried about whether their visa is going to be renewed. Their membership in an anarchist book club is going to take a turn when a plan to resurrect the legendary Raven King goes terribly wrong.
The King is not dead but sleeping, and will return when his people need him most.
