Mushroomtober: Chanterelle
Chanterelle can actually refer to a few different species of mushrooms, all with a cup-like shape (hence their name, from the Greek kantharos), and a delicious, almost peppery taste. They’re found all over the world, and the California golden chanterelle is the state’s official mushroom!
In 2022 for the Inktober challenge, I did 15 pen and ink illustrations of mushrooms! Each illustration is 4×6″ and was done with brushpen and pen stippling. It comes framed.
