Mushroomtober: Black Trumpet
Said to be one of the most delicious of all mushrooms, Black Trumpet mushrooms grow among leaf litter in Europe, Asia, and North America. Another name for it is the “Trumpet of the Dead”, which is something I would call it if I didn’t want anyone to eat my stash.
In 2022 for the Inktober challenge, I did 15 pen and ink illustrations of mushrooms! Each illustration is 4×6″ and was done with brushpen and pen stippling. It comes framed.
