Summer Prints!
It’s summertime, so it’s time for a new print set! This year’s summer prints feature a Great Blue Heron, some lucky koi, and an omen that happened earlier this year that I’m still not over so go take a look!
GREAT BLUE HERON — There’s a few Great Blue Herons that live around the swamps by the Torpedo Factory, and I adore the odd, elegant way they move one bit at a time. 8×12″, digital print on canvas.
KOI — Koi fish are descended from the carp, but just like the story that says if a carp successfully swims up a waterfall it becomes a dragon, they have overcome their humble origins to become something beautiful! 8×8″, digital print on canvas.
POISON OAK & POISON IVY– It’s summer, so watch out! These two prints depict two of a hiker’s worst enemies, who also happen to be cousins (also cousins with a third enemy, Poison Sumac!). Leaves of three, beware of me! 8×8″, digital print on canvas (two separate prints)
ANARCHY IN THE UK — Earlier this year I was struck by the image of two escaped military horses, one white, one black, running through the streets of London. The white horse had been struck by a car and was bleeding profusely. Fortunately, all the horses were recovered and are now safe! What does it mean? Only time will tell… 8×14″, digital print on canvas.
