Pokemon Paintings
2026 is the 30th anniversary of Pokemon coming to the US, and I (like many 90s kids) have fond memories of taking my $5 weekly allowance to the store to grab a pack of cards and see what I would get. I had no idea how to play the card game, but I loved looking at the different creatures and imagining my own adventures with them, or new monsters I could make up. Here’s the first four original starters–which was your favorite? (Charmander was the one I always went with, but I love Bulbasaur’s design).
Don’t see your favorite? No worries! I have 6 additional commission slots–so if you want to commemorate your ‘mon, snag one of the “Custom” spots and I’ll be happy to paint you your pokemon of choice! All pokemon will be painted on the tan 4×4″ paper tiles and be framed in the style of the shown examples. Gotta catch ’em all!
