Ptarmigan Framed Figure
The ptarmigan is a recent discovery to me, but its little red eyebrows and “awebo” call has stolen my heart!. This ptarmigan is hand-painted wood against a background of marbled paper with bits of turquoise, black, and gold: a snowstorm, perhaps, or the side of a glacier. This piece is 5×7″ framed and ready to hang.
