Partridge Framed Figure
We’ve all heard the song, but how many of us knew what a partridge looked like? Not me, before this project! Turns out the humble partridge is a gorgeous little grouse-like bird that spans several continents and has a proud history as a symbol of masculinity, national pride, and being a really cute little bird. This partridge is hand-painted wood against a background of marbled paper with bits of turquoise, black, and gold: a snowstorm, perhaps, or the side of a glacier. This piece is 5×7″ framed and ready to hang.
