Summer is over and the bugs are gone (for now), but we can remember the good times of cicada screams and firefly glow. This set of pen-and-ink illustrations depict three different bugs common to the Virginia summertime: the cicada, the firefly, and the mosquito. The mosquito won’t bite and the cicada won’t scream, but the firefly will glow in the dark!
